Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Your personal information is an amanah, a trust, and we treat it that way. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy is from Muslima Business Academy Inc., doing business as Abundant Muslim (“we,” “us,” “our”). It applies to our website, opt-in and sales pages, emails, WhatsApp community and messages, Instagram messages, and our programs, including The Legacy Blueprint.

We follow Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act. Where they apply to you, we also respect your rights under other privacy laws, such as the UK GDPR.

The short version

  • We collect what we need to teach you, serve you and run our business. Nothing more.
  • We never sell your personal information.
  • You can unsubscribe, ask what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time.
  • Questions? Email salam@abundantmuslim.com.

1. What we collect

Information you give us:

  • Your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and country
  • Your answers to applications, surveys and forms
  • Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or Instagram
  • What you share during live calls, which are recorded (see section 4)
  • Testimonials or feedback you give us

Payment information: Payments are processed securely by Stripe, PayPal or Google Pay. We receive confirmation of your payment along with your name, email and the amount. We never see or store your full card details.

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic technical information, such as your browser, device and the pages you visit
  • Cookies used by our website and by Systeme.io to run our pages and the portal
  • The Meta Pixel, which we use on some pages (for example, after you sign up for our masterclass). It helps us measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads work and show relevant ads to people who’ve visited our pages. See section 9 for your choices.

Personal matters you choose to share: Because of the nature of our work, you may choose to tell us about your faith, family, marriage or wellbeing. Please share only what you’re comfortable with. We treat this information with extra care. We use it only to support you and improve our programs, and never for advertising.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver our programs, portal access, live calls and recordings
  • Process payments, payment plans and refunds
  • Reply to your messages and support you
  • Send you emails and WhatsApp messages you’ve agreed to receive
  • Understand what women need so we can improve our content and programs
  • Measure and improve our advertising
  • Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

3. Emails and WhatsApp messages

We only send marketing messages when you’ve opted in, for example by signing up for our masterclass or joining our WhatsApp community. You can stop them at any time:

  • Click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email
  • Reply STOP on WhatsApp, or leave the WhatsApp group or community
  • Email salam@abundantmuslim.com

Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we’ll still send messages you need about something you’ve bought, such as access details or payment updates.

Please note: in WhatsApp groups and communities, other members may be able to see your phone number and profile, depending on WhatsApp’s settings and your own privacy settings.

4. Live calls and recordings

Our live coaching calls happen on Zoom and are recorded. Recordings are shared only with Program members inside our portal, never publicly. If you’d rather not appear in recordings, you can keep your camera off, change your display name, or use the chat.

5. Who we share your information with

Our team: Kulsum and our assistant, who supports program delivery and member communication. Everyone on our team is expected to keep your information confidential.

Trusted service providers who help us run the business. They only get what they need to do their job:

  • Systeme.io: our pages, emails and program portal
  • Hostinger: our website hosting
  • Zoom: live calls and recordings
  • Meta: WhatsApp, Instagram and the Meta Pixel
  • Stripe, PayPal and Google Pay: payments
  • AI tools (see section 6)
  • Airtable: applications, surveys and program records
  • Demio and Zapier: webinars and connecting our tools, used from time to time

When required by law: For example, to respond to a valid legal request or to protect against fraud.

If our business changes hands: If our business were ever sold or restructured, your information could be transferred to the new owner, who would have to protect it in line with this policy.

We never sell your personal information, and we never share it with others for their own marketing.

6. AI tools

We use AI tools, currently Claude by Anthropic, to help us draft content, organize our work and understand common themes in feedback. We keep the personal information we put into these tools to what’s needed, and we never enter payment details. Where we can, we remove names and identifying details first.

7. Where your information is stored

Some of the service providers we use store information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. Your information may be subject to the laws of those countries. We choose providers that take security seriously.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. That includes while you have access to a program, and for as long as tax and accounting laws require us to keep payment records (in Canada, generally 6 years). When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

9. Cookies and your choices

You can control or block cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of our pages or the portal may not work properly if you do. To control the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram, visit your Meta ad settings. Our website doesn’t currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

10. Keeping your information safe

We use reputable platforms with strong security, limit who on our team can access your information, and keep your portal access password-protected. No system online is 100% secure, so please keep your login private. If a breach ever puts your information at real risk, we’ll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

11. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that’s inaccurate
  • Stop sending you marketing messages
  • Delete your information, unless we’re legally required to keep it
  • Withdraw your consent to how we use your information (this may affect what we can provide)

To make any of these requests, email salam@abundantmuslim.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia. If you’re in the UK, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

12. Children

Our Site and programs are for adults aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its updated date. If we make a significant change, we’ll let you know by email.
